Ghostly baroque

St Charles church in Vienna is the most beautiful and impressive baroque church of the city that has a thousand faces.

The tremendous twin columns frame the broad, pompous nave. The surrounding park area regularly harbors festivals, concerts art & craft markets and other open-air performances. The fountain in front mirroring the enormous church makes up for the perfect setting in any light. In summer, the free open air cinema and pop festival attract young and old, tourists and locals. In December, a scent of gingerbread and orange punch wafts around the whole Christmas market. During the fire show of a street art performance, the church morphs into an enchanted ghostly palace.
