Sitting in Gaudi’s teacups
Enjoying the Catalan sun, tapas and sangria, Barcelona is lively and all over colorful. Gaudi’s Parc Güell is an unconventional park like out of a fairy tale. Strolling around, you will pass the famous mosaic lizard fountain. Look out for the gingerbread house – maybe you find the witch, or Hansel and Gretel. Colorful pavilions, stunning mosaic sculptures and all the naturally round forms are a visual feast.
I visited Barcelona in September and loved this city like crazy. I only dont like all the Gaudi’s art and all the noice around. Something not real for me in all these colors and huge architectural buildings. But it’s me ;-))

I visited Barcelona for a day, after a trip to Andorra. After all the mountains, hiking and climbing, busy street life and colorful art was a welcome change and a nice rest for my feet 🙂

I thought the same thing about Gaudi so much that I could not even go to the Sagrada cathedral. It did not look too inviting to me

What a festival for the eyes! Such an assault of color. It’s like bathing in the most intense and rich colors of the spectrum. This must have been an incredible treat. You took some stunning photographs. Really beautiful work.

Thank you so much! It has been gray and foggy all day, so I thought I should color it up 🙂
