Milan is famous for design, art and fashion. The city is busy, people are fashionable and stylish. It’s dominated by style and architecture. It is covered in an atmosphere of success and influence. Strolling around on the monumental cemetery, takes you back into a world of silence.

Famous architects and sculptors have created numerous unique monuments. The tombs seem to top one another. They are highly decorated with angels, wings, Egyption, Greek and other figures and signs.The cemetery is like an open-air museum in a park landscape.

The Famedio, the main chapel, dominates the courtyard. The ceiling is decorated in bright blue and golden colors.

Independent of all its glory and monuments, people slow down and seem thoughtful while wandering around. The air is full of pondering silence. Don’t we all have beloved ones who we should remember more often?
