Moro Rock
Visiting Sequoia National Park, you should not miss to hike up to the top of Moro Rock, a large granite dome formation. The view from there is amazing. The walk itself is very short and fairly easy, because the park service has installed stairways to the top.
I went to the summit twice that day. The first time in the early afternoon, the second time right before sunset. The same setting in a different light influences the picture so much. Every photographer should consider the time of the day and the possible changes in light that would influence the atmosphere and emotions that one can create with a picture.

Which one do you prefer and why? What is your favorite time of the day to take pictures? Do you have any tips?
Speechless. Very beautiful. Did you hike up or took the short walk?

First, we walked there from Crescent Meadow. The second time we just did the short stairway, we came from the Auto Log. I could not resist to drive through 🙂
