Reykjavik’s walls as canvas
Reykjavik, the capital high up in the North is surrounded by an artistic flair, well known for art and music festivals. In Iceland, almost everybody to some content is an artist. People there are not afraid of simply giving it a try. This “Let’s do it”-philosophy pays off and results in a highly inspirational atmosphere.
Reykjavik has a broad spectrum of galleries and museums, but to find art, you only need to stroll around. The city’s walls are used as canvas for street art, the pubs are the basis for bands and musicians. Keep your eyes open and enjoy!
This post is another entry for Lucile’s Photo101 Rehab. Back in the Photo 101 course, I had already started collecting street art pictures all around the places I travelled to. You might also like to have a look at them: Travel bug: street art & Sound of Music.
Nice! I love to capture graffiti, too, do take a look – https://sunnydistrict.wordpress.com/tag/graffiti/

It’s such an amazing slide show you made. I had seen it before, but could not resist looking at it again.
