Video killed the radio star
I have a fable for vintage radios. They simply are stylish, the sound is still amazing, but the best of course is the “magic eye”.Technically spoken, the magic eye is an indicator of the strength of the electronic signal. In radio receivers it was used as a tuning indicator showing the relative strength of the radio signal. When the eye was bright glowing, the radio was properly tuned. The magic eye is also called a cat’s eye – this way my radio even has three eyes.

That is a good looking radio and aerial, one the tunes it’s self. 🙂

I had already forgotten about the magic eye. And about the ‘song’ as well. 🙂
(Hey, there’s a clip about the song, right?)
