Bending pillars
Arches and pillars need to be massive to carry the weight of the buildings lasting on them.
Using a fisheye lens, even the strongest pillars are bending. The fisheye lens is an extreme wide-angular lens (10.5mm in my case) producing a strong visual distortion resulting in the characteristical hemispherical picture.
This is my third contribution for the Black and White Photo Challenge. I would like to invite Sally from Lens and Pens by Sally to join this 5 days challenge.
How does it work?
Post a B&W Photo every day for 5 days.
Write a story to accompany your photo for 5 days (this can be fiction or non-fiction, a page, a paragraph or a poem)
Nominate a different person each day.
You made absolutely the best out of the fisheye lens. A wonderful, wonderful photo!

thank you! I was playing a lot with the Fisheye lens – I really had to change my thinking to get used to it. in the beginning most pictures were only funny ones (pets with huge noses)

I had a fish eye lens for iPhone but made so many ugly photos… I ended up giving it away. I reckon now that I should have tried a bit more. Thanks for the tip.
