The remaining wall
After a lifetime only the fundamental walls will remain. The base and walls will defy all weather and decay.
All the glory of the wrecking building is gone, it keeps gradually dropping to pieces, brick by brick.
This picture was taken in Andalusia, Spain.
In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Wall.”
Old, broken-down houses like this are both sad and intriguing. I’d like to know the story, which could easily be something completely normal, but who knows?

you are so right. All these broken houses have a story to tell leaving us with lots of questions. Why did someone decide to leave this house behind or to neglect it?

Love the way you’ve included the grasses/wheat???? in front of the wall. Nicely done.

I love the contrast of the crumbling walls, the dry wheat, and the crisp blue sky here. Wonderful capture!
