Out of focus
Hiking up to the summit of Coma Pedrosa, the highest mountain in Andorra, is beautiful. The weather was great, the view stunning. Already all the way up, I had been taking pictures. To have a picturesque souvenir of the summit moment, I put my camera on a stone, set 5-seconds self-timing and ran into the arms of Mr Nerd.
The sun was heavily reflecting on the display, so I only quickly checked whether we were in the picture. Back in the hotel, I was disappointed and wanted to delete the picture. The grass in front of the lens was pin sharp and we out of focus. Sentimental as I am, of course I kept it anyway. Today, it even finds its designation in the “blur” photo challenge.
In summer, I will hike up again to get my perfect picture or simply another wonderful experience hiking in that small country.
To see more pictures of my trip to Andorra, also see 300 rocky days of sunshine.

Andorra’s hiking paths are great. The one up to Coma Pedrosa is fairly easy compared to other mountains at similar height in other countries
