Esterhazy Palace

Esterhazy Palace in Eisenstadt is a stunning baroque palace that gives an insight into the glamorous life at the court.

The famous Haydnsaal is still used as a concert hall due to its spectacular acoustics. Joseph Haydn had been in duty for the Esterhazy family for almost 40 years, a time when he composed lots of his work.

Nowadays, the palace houses various galleries and various music festivities, as well as the wine museum. In the next days, I will post some more pictures taken at the palace and in Eisenstadt.
