Mans Zelmerlow was the hero of the 60th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. 12 points go to a fulminant show and an ever changing spectacular stage with wings of Conchita’s Phoenix.
12 points go to Conchita’s attempts to support Polina Gagarina while being booed by the crowd “You deserve to be in the lead”. The winner’s song’s message was clear: We are the heroes of our time, but we’re dancing with the demons in our minds. ESC has always been political – who is giving points to whom, who is representing the country. However, one should not forget about the original aim of having all these countries together performing on one big stage, all about the music.
