Even my tea is longing for spring
I love winter, though at some point I start longing for spring time with all its blossoms, flowers and colors. It is the time of the year, when I prepare my seeds for tomatoes, salad, peppers, basil and so on inside. In winter, I drink my tea usually close to the window, to enjoy the view of the cold winter outside. But today, I saw some blossoming reflections in there.
Then, it hit me, all my orchids started blossoming. I had not realized that all the buds had opened. So, this week I simply bring some flowers to Justine’s tea time Event to let you join my blossoming indoor spring time. If you also want to join a cuppa visit Justine’s blog for instructions.
orchids always make me think of Alice in Wonderland!! What beautiful flowers you have!
I raise my cup of tea and say ‘here’s to spring, I miss it, and am looking forward to my garden bearing color once again!’

🙂 I love Alice in Wonderland – when I will have my own garden, I hope it will look like out of a fairy tale

Thank you sooo much for coming to tea and you brought my favourite flowers too. You know I am so so jealous because I seem to kill them constantly, they never re-flower with me, i get small buds, then it just seems to go downhill, I have no idea what i am doing wrong. I just have to buy new ones, but feel wretched when I have to throw one away.
I love the reflection in the tea and oddly for the first time I saw some buds today whilst out on my walk, was so lovely and some purple small flowers x

I think the trick is to almost do nothing, the less you care, the better they grow. I water them just very little once a week and they all grow and grow 🙂

wow, maybe it is the position they are in? Maybe there is something about where they are that they don’t like. They are on top of the piano maybe they hate the noise hehe – grasping at straws now x

Beautiful flowers indeed! Nice to join you in a cup of tea from the other side of the world where we still have summer! I wish I could grow orchids but can’t seem to manage it. I love visiting friends in Denmark and having them everywhere in the house. Thanks for sharing.
