Reflections of silence
Water is essential and all times attracting. It has so many faces: water can be peacefully silent acting as a mirror like in the picture below. Waterfalls can show its massive strength. Severe weather and heavy rain can quickly lead to flooding of huge areas. But as quickly as its waves burst and foam, the silence always comes back.
Yosemite Mirror Lake – nomen est omen.
Looking through my blog, you will find several pictures of water in all its colors, strengths and states:
Gas: Pulsating Geyser
Beautiful lakes: Dive into the blue
Freezing: Floating Icebergs
Reflections: Yosemite’s mirror
Ice: Clear
Massive waterfalls: Falling
What does water mean to you?
This is so gorgeous. It reminds me of some beautiful mountainous lakes I saw in Italy. Of course, I have never been as far as where you are. Where do I find your photo101 entries?

I like the fallen tree and its reflection, and the row of tiny bare trees. Great shot

Water means – beauty, force and serenity. The sound and sight of placid water de-stresses and reminds me that everything will eventually flow to their rightful places. This is a beautiful shot. I can imagine my reflection showing maybe if I peek closer to the water’s smooth surface ….
