Inner courtyard
Walking through the streets, I like taking pictures of courtyards. Some passages and courtyards are stunningly beautiful, but most of the time we miss them rushing past their entrances in a hurry of our every day life.
I was on my way to the library, when I stopped at this passage. The courtyard houses a cosy Café and a small shop – a welcome break of the busy city.
For the next five days, I will post a black and white picture every day, this is my first contribution. Lucile from Bridging Lacunas has nominated me to join the 5 Days – 5 Stories Black and White Photo Challenge. Lucile makes stunning portraits capturing the atmosphere of the people just in the right second and perfect light, like in her recent post Friendship. Desleyjane from Musings of a frequent flying scientist nominated me in parallel. You should read through her do it yourself science experiments and enjoy great pictures from down under. I would like to invite Justine from Eclectic odds n sods to join the challenge, she is hosting a great tea time event with cookies, cakes, tea, coffee and booze.
How does it work?
Post a B&W Photo every day for 5 days.
Write a story to accompany your photo for 5 days (this can be fiction or non-fiction, a page, a paragraph or a poem)
Nominate a different person each day.

Beautiful! Which city is this? Looks like it has many more such awesome alleys and courtyards.
